What should I wear for my appointment?

Massage - You will be asked to keep your underwear on and remove all other items. Your modesty will be respected at all times with only the area being worked on being exposed.

Reflexology – Loose trousers that will comfortably roll up to just above the knee or if you prefer you can remove your lower garments and be covered with a towel

Reiki - You will remain fully clothed so any items that are warm, loose and comfortable – you can be covered by a blanket to keep you warm if required.

How will I feel after the treatment?

Some detoxifying after effects may be felt either immediately or up to 48 hours following a treatment. This can be a natural process of your body cleansing itself from built up toxins.

Other sensations can include: A heightened sense of well-being and peace, energised or relaxed, better sleep, improvement in general mood, hunger or thirst, alert or tired, more aware of your body, sleepy or revitalised.

What if I have any medical conditions?

If you have any medical conditions, are on any medication or under a doctors’ care for anything you should call or visit your GP to ensure the treatment you would like is suitable for you. Some conditions require a signed note from your Doctor stating that the treatment is suitable for you. Please contact us if you have any queries regarding this matter.

For any conditions, you must bring along any medication that you may require.

Please note: Massage and Reflexology are not always suitable for certain conditions – You will complete a full consultation form before your first treatment to ensure that the treatment given to you is safe for you to have. Reiki can be suitable for anybody.

What should I do after a treatment?

Drink plenty of water, rest and listen to your body. You may experience some reactions after a treatment; this may be a sign of your body detoxifying and should subside shortly. Pay attention to these reactions and see how much better you feel after. Refrain from drinking alcohol and consuming toxins to get the best results from your session.

How often should I have a treatment?

This depends on many circumstances.

It is advisable to have a treatment once a month as a way to keep your self in balance and your energy high. More intensive sessions such as once a week can be beneficial depending on your needs.
